My dh is a rebbe and is off July and August. In the summer he teaches in a day camp in the morning. He is off the whole afternoon. Does your dh work on a school year calendar, what does he do in the summer?

My husband also has the vacations off from the school. He doesn't work when it's the vacations.

Not my DH but myself: School ends mid-late June, and we go back for workshops the week before Labor Day. I am a free agent over the summer! Last summer, I was out of town a lot, painting with my Dad to earn extra money, and helping my Mom, who busted her hip in early June. The summer before, I did basically nothing. This year, I will have a baby so ... who knows!
