Looking to get away up north for a weekend.
The only hotels with kashrut we eat will set us back over 5,000shekel. Way over what we can afford!!
Anyone have any recommendations of tzimmers or other alternatives with hashgacha on a level with kinar hotel/kibbutz lavi, but that cost less than a months rent?!

You could try the Ron Hotel in Tzfas, which I believe is under a mehadrin hasgacha that you could check to see if you're comfortable with. It will be a lot cheaper than 5000 shekel. Otherwise, it may be more economical to find your own place on AirBNB, VRBO, or booking.com and plan to bring your own food or buy takeout in Tzfas from Mendy's.

The Ron Hotel has closed, so that's not an option. Not sure what to recommend.

Ah shame. I guess I'll just have to hunt around for a tzimmer or something. Was hoping not to have to cook/clean up for a change! Maybe in another life time Wink

Wow, how surprising and disappointing. When we were in Tzfas not too long ago not in peak vacation season, DH spoke with them about possibly coming for Shabbos, and they were totally booked up, so they were definitely open and seemingly doing well. Wonder what happened.

If you're willing not to go up north - try Kibbutz Chafetz Chaim guest house.
I'm pretty sure a shabbat there is not over 1,500 NIS.

How many people are you?
I was assuming just a couple, but if you're with kids it adds up in a hotel.

We were debating chafetz chaim but really fancy the north. A bunch of kids with us bH so yeh it gets expensive anywhere I guess..
