I want to create a list for myself as a way to check off that everything is done early enough on Erev Shabbos.
What are the things you would put on the list? (My ideal list would be from Wed through right before Shabbos)
(Just for reference, it's just me, DH and a 10 month old baby)

This is one we always forget to our chagrin - put away or turn off the muktza toys!

For me right before shabbos:
- heat up soup and other food
- Turn on shabbos lamps
- Turn off wifi/baby monitor.
- Fill and turn on water urn
- Plug in warming tray and make sure it's on
- Take challah out of freezer and put on warmer (forgot this last week!)
- Check lights upstairs and downstairs

On Wed, it would be defrosting chicken and chopping soup veg, and on Thurs it would be cooking and clearing the dining room table.

Mine also has,
Take out garbage/ recycling
Cut paper towel

(I have mine listed by each room, and what needs doing. So it has the guest room, for example, and lists the specific things if we're having guests). It lists which lights should be on/ off. Each bathroom is listed with "cut toilet paper" etc.

That way any person in the house can check any room to make sure it's ready.

Can you share the list when you’re done?

Haven't read all responses so maybe I will be repeating some things.

Empty dryer
Turn on bathroom lights
Heat up food
Wine/grape juice/ water into fridge
Put away muktza toys
Prepare candles
Prepare tea
Cook eggs
Fill up percolator
Tear paper towel
Fridge light
Cut nails
Brush/make kids' hair
Remove cleaners tags
Set shabbos table
Prepare blech
Take out garbage

I typed as I thought of something, so my list definitely is not organized.

I'm not going to try for a comprehensive list, but on Wednesday evening, you should inventory the baby's things -- diapers, wipes, creams and lotions, whatever -- and ensure that you have enough to get through Shabbat.

Thank you all for your responses.
When I type up my final list I'll share it.
(Thinking of printing all the tasks in strips and putting magnets on the back as a way to take down that which was done, and week by week put up that weeks plan...)
