How do I wash/dry pleated skirts in such a way that will keep the pleats? Should I be ironing them? My daughter is six, so spot-cleaning won't really cut it...
Also, what is the best way to care for the velour sweatshirt that is also part of the uniform?

two ways that I found that work well, wash like regular then dry for a few minutes, not long. take out of dryer and right away iron down the pleats or pin each pleat in place with a bobby pin and hang. take out the pins when ready to wear.

For pleated skirts, wash on cold cycle and shake out and hang up right away. Do not put them in the dryer at all.
For velour sweatshirts, wash and fully dry in machines.
