I never had kids closer than 20 months so can't really tell you. Just daven for a healthy baby now. No need to worry. The beginning is hard. There are many hectic times. It will all fall into place iyH.

You get into a rhythm before you know it. Take it from a mother of 4 under 4, you got this Smile

Bshaa Tova! I had my second around a month ago, my older child is 18 months so same situation. Remember that your older child will be 9 months older than he/she is now which makes a huge difference!
You'll find ways to make things work. If you are in a position to get cleaning help, even once a week, that's very helpful.
Keep suppers simple, have some suppers that you can pretty much pull out of the freezer, etc

My first two were 15 months apart and that was my easiest transition. I worked then too but I cut my hours down to part time instead of full time. All my other kids have much bigger spaces and I actually had a harder time transitioning.

Ironically, I managed the best with my kids that are very close in age. The longer the break, the harder it was to manage.
