You're gonna laugh at this one but I promise you it's real. The family in the house in back of ours has a HARD BOILED EGG gemach for shabbos in case someone forgot to cook eggs!!! We couldn't stop laughing when they first advertised.

Their is a gadget that you crack the eggs in a plastic mold and then boil it
You don’t have to peel the eggs

In Lakewood there's gazillions of gemachim.
I stopped counting at 80 and I was only up to D on the alphabetized list. It will take me ages to list them here so put it this way: If you need it, Lakewood has a gemach for it!

I started a bris outfit gemach, but to stand out, the outfit also came with door to door delivery and pickup, and encouraged people to just throw the item in a bag after use, and I would take care of the laundry/dry cleaning, etc.

I figured newborns' parents would love the option of no shopping, no driving, and no laundry... but it never took off.

Diamond ring gemach (only ever heard about it, no contact info)

A medicine gemach - get your medicine from there in a hurry, and just replace it with more when you can actually get a prescription from the doctor.

Really? Where? I went shopping for shepherd's purse here a while ago, and the pharmacist told me that it's banned for sale in Israel.

My cousin has such a gmach in kiryas joel.
But you have to pick it up amd drop it off. It send a messenger service...
It comes complete with a white onsie! Fancy knit outfit, matching bonnet and booties to book (pun intended). Starched, folded, packed and wrapped up in tissue paper as if it's coming from a boutique shop. Finished with a ribbon and bow.
Inside is also a sheet of what you can say add the mother as your baby is good to the bris.

They also ask you not to wash it but send it back as is. I'm assuming the knit is delicate and they want to wash it so that it lasts a long time.
Maybe tomorrow if I'll remember I'll post a picture.

It was a tremendous help.
