$18-$20 here in Lakewood. Includes basic supplies.
Men's cost $3-$5, but many have a "frequent dip" option where you can do $10/week, useful if you go every day.

Which mikva? I pay 20 for the chabad mikva and there's an additional optional security fee. They're also in the process of building a new mikva and I'm scared to know how much it'll cost to go there...

Taylor Rd. I think Shabbos is 18 but my night is never Shabbos. Because of the pill my period only comes during the middle of the non pill week. Come to our side of town.... there's never a wait.

I think it's $18 here have not gone in about a year (pp nursing clean) and in general I don't go that often. One because my cycles are wacky or use bc to go a few months at a time without.

Do you have your own secluded beach? How do you do that practically?
And is it because $40 is too expensive for you?

There’s no one on the beach at night and it’s very dark.
Saving money is a plus but I really do it bc I had some bad experiences with the mikvah ladies here. And in general I don’t really like the pressure or being examined by someone.

There is no mitzvah to be examined by anyone. The mikvah lady's job is just to ensure that you went underwater fully. And even that is not strictly necessary according to various halachic sources.
