My very close friend is making aliyah iyh. I would appreciate any and all ideas for gifts!
Something personal, something that can make the settling in easier, I don't know.
Something special for a special friend.

I've had friends who moved to the US (temporarily obviously;) ) from Israel. I got them a voucher for a meal at a local restaurant that does deliveries as well. I figured they're going to need to eat out the first few days.
I'd suggest looking up a local takeout place (I'm sure imamothers local to your friend can help out).
Also maybe a gift card to a local Ikea or other shop that sells items for the home (Fox, Golf, Home Center).

A ring. Your friend will think of you when she puts it on.

A Hebrew-English dictionary! However good her Hebrew is, she'll still turn to it on a regular basis!

I speak fairly fluent Hebrew, and use it more than English on a daily basis, but I still keep my dictionary accessible, and it still gets intermittent use.

I got my friend a gift certificate by a photographer in ey! She was so excited for it. It’s something every mother wants yet thinks twice before doing it. Does she have kids?

I like the photo shoot certificate idea
And the restaurant voucher is also a good idea.
She won’t be having any space to take along a big gift

Love the photo shoot idea!
If you can get an Ikea gift card that works in Israel, that would be a greatly appreciated gift. Every new household needs at least 1 Ikea trip.
Or a local food place.
