For those of you that have a bunch of daughters that go through a lot of hair conditioner , is there any way to make it more economical. Would love to keep the cost down of hair products.
Thanks

Suave products are very inexpensive and quite good. Sometimes they are as inexpensive as $1.00 or so a bottle on sale. I have used very expensive products and haven't found differences. Their shampoos are good quality as well in my experience. They have a HUGE selection of various kinds which often mimic the much more expensive shampoos.

The other thing is to dilute shampoos and conditioners so that less is squirted on. Most shampoos and conditioning products are very thick and work better when diluted.

I don’t have a ton of daughters (yet) but I find shampoos and conditioners on sale and stock up through Walmart.

I also have used Suave for years and I find it to work as well as more expensive brands. Also brushing right after the shower with a "wet" brush has totally changed the way my hair drys.
I have very thick, wavy, frizzy hair and I find that a small bit of conditioner goes a long way. I've never diluted mine but I can definetely still see that working.

Suave makes great inexpensive hair products, including conditioner.

If you use a very small amount and wait for 5 minutes, combing it through with your fingers after a minute or two, it works as well as using a much larger amount and only waiting one minute and then rinsing right away.

I like tressemme. They come in really big bottles so you get a lot. It’s very thick so a little goes far. It goes on sale often. And the conditioner works great on my daughters thick long hair.

Conditioner should only be used in small amounts and only the ends of hair....... You should not be going through it that often.

My hair needs a lot of it... I used to go thru a bottle pretty quickly... People's hair might be different

My mother used to buy a supermarket brand (Waitrose, for anyone from England). If anyone complained that it didn't suit their hair, she told them that she brought a generic product for common use, but if anyone wanted anything better quality (translate - more expensive) or specialised for their own hair, they were welcome to use their own money to buy their own private bottle.

It worked out very economic for her! And since we were all spending our own money on what we wanted, we learnt to use our own stuff carefully as well.

There was a lot of respect for the system. No one helped themselves from anyone else's bottle without prior permission.
