My neice is getting married. I dont want to wear a gown in the worst way possible but it seems like every other aunt is so im going to look like a bit fat stick in the mud if I dont get on board. I will be 6 weeks pp by the wedding. Id like something with a forgiving shape. Nothing tight! No mermaid or bodycon style dresses. My esthetic is ethereal, flowy styles. Light weight materials. No beading!
Im 27 so something youthful! Id love to stay under $200 but willing to go up to $300 for something I love.. TIA!!

Eta- I prefer solid black. Or something with a little white is fine too. .. im a size 6

Then look for something featuring both black and white in a flattering style.

I would cut the sleeves and fill in the V. The large bow in front is likely belly friendly

I DID NOT write "I am not thin"!!! How did this get 12 thumbs up?!? Geez!! I want something flattering bec at 6 week pp, even at a size 6 (im normally a 2) I will likely be lumpy and something tight would just accentuate that!
