Does anyone know one? I can’t continue with the practice I’ve been using for years, they’re awful, you can’t get thru on phone, and they treat their patients horribly, TIA

I think he does offer some tests in the office but I don't know exactly which ones. Definitely the basic ones like EKG, strep, blood tests etc.

There is a long wait but usually not two hours. I just want to point out that the only reason he has a long wait is because he really spends time with each patient. He will listen to your concerns, answer your questions, give advice and never make you feel rushed. Personally, I think the longer wait time is worth it to have a real relationship with a doctor who really cares about you. You won't find too many doctors like him nowadays, who really value their relationships with their patients.

He stopped seeing patients. I used him for years. So upset. Instead he recommended I see some new Dr. in the building.

Don’t want to hijack this thread, but I’m also looking for a new internist. I prefer a female & curious to hear pros/cons of male/female. Also, what do you like about the Dr’s you are seeing/how long are they around for.

I'm the one who recommended Dr Werzberger.

As far as being male, it never bothered me. I do prefer female obgyns when possible, but PCP doesn't matter to me

I like that he is the only provider in the office, so you see him at every appointment and can have a real relationship. I find him to be unusually caring and dedicated. He really helped turn my life around by addressing both physical health and mental health issues. He gives you as much time as you need at appointments and is easy to talk to (and I'm the type who gets anxious and usually has a hard time being open with doctors). The office is also very easy to deal with, they communicate mostly by email so no long waits on the phone. They also have a patient portal where you can access all your records and lab results.
