They also commented that the huge show of gratitude was an unfortunate reflection of our times and how vulnerable we are feeling now. They expressed their sympathy and hope for change. It was very touching.

A teenage girl, but she apologized so all was well...

Seriously speaking, it was the Holocaust survivor quietly crying during the Keil Molei Rachamim.

I loved seeing all the Rabbonim and askanim- such ehrliche people. It inspired me to have somewhat higher aspirations. Also, it was all so emotional. I cried thru most of it!

That didn't struck me, but just wondering, why did everyone have such a yellow band on their wrist?

Reb Leibish Lish made me so emotional
I was awed at R' Mandel's realness
Very touching to see the holocaust survivors. When I grew up, we said the war was 60 years ago. It struck me that now we say 75 years ago!

I am a tough nut to crack.
I seldom get moved by speeches, rabbanim, and I tend to not even bother listening, because it's blah, blah blah...in short, I'm not interested.
But somehow, something in me broke. I cried. I bawled. I talked to Hashem.

I didn't even go, I watched it from home, and as Rabbi Mandel screamed the שיר המעלות and said it was an עת רצון, I bawled my eyes out, for my DC who needs a shidduch. I begged. I pleaded. I screamed. I cried. Something in me connected in a way Ive never connected before, watching each and every person cry to hashem for his/ her own personal yeshuah.

I'm sure your tefillos reached the heavens. May your DC find a wonderful shidduch really soon!

We were there and it was definitely a highlight of our lives.
Awesome to be near to, watch and hear Rabbi Shmuel Kamenetsky. His demeanor and speech as he gives over Torah pierces the soul.
The silence during shmone esrei.....
The achdus and kiddush Hashem.
The videos of all the learners worldwide, and especially Lublin.
