Looking for things to do in NYC area

Daughter is 21 - Son is 16

We've been to almost all the museums already. Any other ideas of what to do for a day or two?

How about a scavenger hunt with teams in a Costco or Target? You take pics on your phone of the items.
Also maybe try
an escape room
virtual reality
NY ferry - so cheap!

Tour of Rockefeller Center or NBC Studios
Arcadia Earth or National Geographic Ocean Encounter
Do they like amusement parks, Nickelodeon Universe at American Dream is open and there's also indoor skiing and snow boarding

We recently went axe throwing in Brooklyn for an adult outing. It was so much fun. But I would check if your 16 yr old is allowed. We all went as adults.

We had a Groupon+coupon code so wasn’t terrible. Many things in NYC are overpriced it’s so hard to find well priced activities especially if you’ve done everything. We did enjoy it I can’t say it was my favorite activity ever but it was fun.

Such great ideas! My kids are a little younger but some of these things they would enjoy.
Good for you op that you don’t think you need to get on a plane to make things fun. We have plenty to do here!

I hope I didn’t come across as criticizing your ideas. I think they are great.
Just wanted to comment on that one attraction.

Gulliver's Gate and Spyscape are both great, and can be combined with ice skating in Bryant Park, which is also lots of fun, plus multiple kosher restaurants in the area.

Totally not, I do find these things are very individual and it’s hard to know what each person will like before they go. We really didn’t like Gullivers Gate but seem to be in the minority for that.
