I don't know, but it sounds fascinating!

Laugh FF you could probably pull together something hilarious and appropriate. This article really laid out the halachic details of a carpool agreement. And after my carpool experience this year I can really relate to the need of halachot for it!

The menahel of our BY has said, in addition to being able to tell about a person by noting "b'kiso, b'kaaso, and b'kiso", we could add "b'carpoolo".

1. Follow all laws regarding operating a vehicle and transporting passengers

If your neighbor has to drive her child anyway, you don't need to worry about any carpools. That way the Halachos will never apply.

(This concept was explained to me by a young passenger, who told me her mother never ever joins any carpools. There's no need, as you can just hop along with the others who need to drive anyway.)
