Selsun blue medicated with menthol. It’s over the counter, doesn’t smell that great but really works

Pure tea tree oil, one tablespoon to one bottle of shampoo. It will work gradually, but it does work.

Condition lightly, and only on the length of the hair. Conditioner too close to the scalp will make a moist atmosphere for fungus to grow.

Add pure tree oil to any bottle shampoo?? Mix it together?

T-Gel works, but there are safety concerns, and it's gross and ruins your hair.
Salicylic acid can help.

Neutrogena T-sal shampoo. It was recommended by my daughter's dermatologist and really works. (T-sal, not T-gel.) It's a bit pricey, but I buy 6 at a time from Amazon, and it's less expensive. I'd try it out first.

Before I got married, when medicated dandruff shampoos weren't helpful for me,
a make-up/hair artist advised soaking freshly cleaned & dry hair & scalp in Apple cider vinegar for a while (can't recall, half hour or something?), can wrap hair in plastic bag. It doesn't smell great & takes a little skill to not be messy, but I recall it was very, very helpful.
