It's enough for 1 piece per kid.
They anyways don't need more then that.
It also depends how you cut it up, every cuts up cake differently.

Probably a little too small. I usually make the next size pan for my boys for school. Around 11x14 pan. If its for a siyum or similar there are very likely other kids bringing cake also and each kid gets a small piece, so it may not be a problem.

To see the size of the pcs you would have mentally divide the pan to make 6 rows in width and 5 rows in lenght
(That makes 30 pcs but anything less wont make 26!!)

Are you serving other nosh? then 9 x 13 is enough. Kids like candy and chips more than cake. Usually just take one bite, or just eat the frosting and leave the rest. But if cake is the only refreshment than maybe need more.

Too exact for me. Would make me nervous. I always like to have extra in case someone drops their piece on the floor etc..

Also, if it's in school I like to offer the teachers and assistants.
