I have a theory that people on this site tend to be under-slept. When I'm more awake I do more productive things. When I'm tired, it's hard to summon the energy and focus, and much easier to browse imamother.

Wow...we're all on about 5.5 hours of interrupted sleep on average.
Jewish Moms Rock!!!
But, I really have to work at going to sleep on time.
Raise your hand if you get stuck in that post-dinner and bedtime rabbit hole of couch potato-ing, looking at the dishes (hoping they'll disappear), looking at the zoo around the couch (hoping it'll clean itself up), looking at the clock--

RIGHT?!
How do I get out of this cycle?! Don't know about you guys, but after dinner I am DONE!

This is me!!

If I didn't do any cleaning up I might as well have gone to sleep early. But I needed my chill time, and then I couldn't move from the couch.

Who knows about sleep? I just awoke from a nap after I collapsed when I came from the doctor with four kids

My baby likes to keep me up at night & sometimes gives me a stretch during day

I think that's our problem. It's our only me-time, so it's a really big toss-up:
Should we have me-time, or sleep-time?!
Personally, I always go for the me-time because going to sleep early is a gamble. Chances are that's the night your kids will wake you every forty-five minutes!

Like 10 hours. Same the night before. And I'm yawning now. (Yes, I'm pregnant.) I will probably get a nap at some point. (I usually get about 8 hours, less than 7 hours means I can't function, 8 hours and I'm myself.)
