Has this actually worked for anyone? I don't want to start and not be consistent but want to know if it's actually worth trying. I know it's not going to be quick or easy at first. Last night she cried almost the whole night long because I wouldn't hold her while she slept ( I was right next to her in the room I just wasn't holding her).

It worked for me. You do have to be ready to be up for a few nights though.... Banging head Banging head Banging head

Ok. Yes I'm sure the first few days/nights are going to be super bad. I need to do nap times also. I have been holding her for every single nap.

I found that crying it out worked better. By being a presence near the baby and not holding baby the baby took longer to quiet down.

From what I read I believe it’s first nights then naps not all at once.

Oh ok. I'll read through that part again. Won't it be hard for her to be still held for naps but teaching her not to be held at night? Nights are getting worse because I'm holding her for naps I think.
