Hi all you creative Imas,

I have been Bullet Journaling for 3 years now. Nothing fancy. I am searching for a notebook that is affordable, sturdy, gridded paper and will stay flat when layed open.

Any ideas?

I love my Scribbles that Matter, but its dot grid, and not particularly cheap.

This was my second favorite. Again, dot grid, not a lot of pages, but very affordable.

Invest in a high quality cover and use loose leaf pages like these. I love loose leaf pages because you can get both sides to stay nice and flat! https://www.amazon.com/6-Ring-.....YK1M7

I use the store brand one from Michael's. It's about $10 not on sale but is often on sale for $5-6. I am satisfied with the paper quality and it's been durable enough for me (going everywhere for over a year now.)

What is the purpose of a bullet journal as opposed to a regular journal?
Please explain, I'm interested.

You'll get a better answer from Google than here.

Or don't check Pinterest.

There are people who use BuJos as art therapy. Which is fine is that's what you want, but not necessary, and can be intimidating. Mine is strictly functional.

Amazon has a ton of great options. Just search "bullet journal".
I started mine for fun because I love arts and crafts and lists, so what could be better. It got overwhelming to keep up with, so right now it's just functional and I still love it for the concept behind it.

I like the Levenger circa series, you can pull pages in and out and rearrange them. It comes in two sizes and all different kinds of templates on the page, lined, dots, etc. Staples also makes a similar series (Arc) that is a bit lest costly. Levneger does have frequent promotions.

I would love to hear about your bulleting experiences. How have you found it helpful?

My problem is that I live in Israel, so a lot of the options mentioned here aren't applicable. I found Amazon very confusing, however, will try looking again based on some of your recommendations.

Thanks so much Imas!

so, checked this one out. It's absolutely perfect except that it's a dotted grid and I need a properly outlined grid! Any idea if this company makes them?
