Can I get the rundown on all the girl's schools in Monsey? What kinds of families send to each school- in your opinion...

The only schools I know of are Bas Mikra and YSV (kind of new to monsey) and I have no idea what kinds of schools these are.
are you happy in the school you sent your daughter to?

They're both excellent schools, and they're both nearly impossible schools to get into.

Also Bnos Leah Prospect Park it’s supposed to be similar to YSV but more to the right and has a mix of types.

Supposedly this coming school year it'll officially open and most girls from a certain school who shall remain unnamed will be going there because there's too much politics with hanhalla so only the hanhallas children will stay in the nameless school.

Please let's not start a lashon hora/politics thread.
This has been going on for years.

I'll sing you the song I just now sang for my girls:
"Lashon hora is no good
We should know that we should
Not speak it not hear it
Lashon hora is no good!"

Typical litvish/yeshivish school. They're not more academic than other typical schools.

I thought it was more to the left of YSV, at least in parent body?

that’s not the info I’ve received. But I am still doing research. I understand that there are neutral chasidish families (not modern chasidish) that send there . I would be surprised if they sent to a school more to the left of YSV. But I could be wrong.

People tend to confuse the 2, especially on imamother.

My niece went to Chofetz Chaim, and I would think it's to the right of YSV (unless she's not typical of the type.) She's regular frum/yeshivish. But she's a few years out of there already.

When I grew up in Monsey, YSV and CC were the most academic schools.

Bas Mikrah was not academic, but later they upped their game.
