Looking to get away
Must be nice and have that pampered feeling
Most places are at least 3-400.
Any tips, promos, or suggestions?

You’re looking for something that doesn’t exist. Pampered feeling? For that little? Sounds like you’re looking for a 4 seasons hotel at a Days Inn price. Not happening. Either get a nice hotel outside the city (still tough to find st your price point) or a low scale hotel in the city. Can’t have both

This.
You can probably get the Holiday Inn, and similar hotels, in your range. But a hotel with a "pampered feeling" is going to cost you.
Try hotel.com for ideas.

The W Hotel in Hoboken is probably your best bet. Quick PATH train ride in to the city.

Anyone been to Carnegie Hotel?
The Manhattan Club?
Jewel Hotel Facing Rockfeller?
San Carlos Hotel?
Google has so many options but I'd love to hear people's experiences.

Check out Hotel Beacon. Luxurious? Pampering? No. But extremely clean and well located on west side. We like staying there. Current specials will get you in under $200.

If you aren't specifically looking for Manhattan, we just went to The Water Club in Atlantic City.
We got a great suite for around $200. Nothing luxurious but clean, comfortable and relatively new.

Some friends once stayed at the Hilton in midtown ( somewhere on 6th ave?). It is a large, touristic type of hotel. The room was new, clean, bathroom new and clean as well.
A million years ago, we stayed in a hotel located on 48th street , btw Lexington and 3rd ave. Hamsley? I don’t recall the name, but probably it was affordable, since my parents brought along children ( and we have worthless pesos). It was a smaller hotel.

We ended up at the Manhattan Club. Made sure to book one of their newly updated rooms. Great experience for fantastic price!

City Lights Suite. Requested king bed.
It's a timeshare club as opposed to a hotel, which I only found out once we were there. It didn't make a difference to us but it's possible that's what affected the price.
