I'm deciding on a cholov yisroel formula for my newborn to supplement breastmilk. The ones I know of are Similac, Kendamil and Sunrise. Three yesterday ago, with my last newborn Sunrise was the only one (in powder) available.
So what experience do you have with these, or any others I might have missed?
Smell, easy on tummy, cost effective, availability (which is why I left out materna, I want something I'll always be able to find in any standard kosher supermarket) etc etc

all my babys were fed materna (I didnt breastfeed) and we never had any issues with it (one was a preemy, one had reflux, one became a picky eater, one eats everything now that he is older) ... I prayed they would be fine with materna as it is the only CHY firmula available where we live. I must say it was easy on the stomach, but I heared complains from other mothers that their babyies had some issues and they had to swich to 'better' cholov stam milk.
I can only say from my own experience that I was lucky/happy and all my babies were happy and fine with materna, it is expencive in my opinion (compared to otgher chalav stam options in my town).
hazlacha and enjoy your little sweety
EDIT: sorry I missed your point about materna; didnt know its not available where u live, sorry.

I've been doing mixed feeding using Kendamil and DC's been fine with it. I heard it's supposed to be the lightest on the stomach.

I'm just asking- what are the benefits of dairy formula?
(Kids here have dairy allergies so only tried that in hospital- didn't work)

Kendamil is great. I am currently using materna from Eretz Yisroel.

Cows milk is most nutritionally similar to mother's milk
