Hey! We usually like to give a nice gift in lieu of shalach manos to our son’s Rebbeim.
In the past we’ve given:
A small Matanel art
Wine decanter
Challah cover

Any new ideas? We like to give a gift as opposed to money.
Thanks!

My husband is a rebbe. Yes this is food related but not mishloach manos. The nicest purim thing I ever got was a delivery on taanis Esther of bagels spreads and muffins instead of mm. It was so appreciated!

My husband is a Rebbi for many years. We've gotten some beautiful gifts as part of shalach manos. I'm not the type to spend on extras so they are all much appreciated.
Some of the gifts: a sefer, a fancy tehillim, a small siddur with name engraved, a cookbook, an expensive towel, wine decanters, picture frames, various serving dishes, special pen, cutting boards, all kinds of lchaim cup sets.
We mostly get wine and chocolate which is more than fine.
A few memorable shalach manos:
-bagels and spreads and orange juice delivered in the morning was amazing to have on hand right after megilla- ever since I buy this for purim breakfast/ brunch and it keeps my kids from filling up on sugar.
-salami and turkey rolls with ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles
- a good wooden cutting board piled high with homemade assortment of breads- I use this cutting board every shabbos for challah
- a salad bowl containing a pkg of prechecked lettuce, container of grape tomatoes, a bag of croutons, and a bottle of dressing
Hope this helps.
