Has anyone worked in a hotel over Pesach in any capacity? My daughter is hoping to get a job so that she and her family can go for free. Any advice, or suggestions?

My father worked as a mashgiach for years and he says make sure you get a contract that states in clear terms what your obligations are, what your pay is ( salary, room and board) who is hired (wife, husband, teen) which of your fees are and aren’t included.(trips, day camp, transportation)
When you get a break, will you have help?

Unless she’s running the daycare program, no hotel programs use people with families anymore. And she’d have to be worth the expense for them to even consider it. If she was single it would be a different story.

It is highly unlikely that she'll get a free hotel stay for a family, no matter what job she takes. Hotels try to take singles for most jobs and have them share rooms.

It's hard to get a job but she can try!
She can call all hotel programs and see if they would hire!
I personally wouldn't do it! It's hard to work on pessach! Much harder than cleaning and cooking!

Ha tell her good luck!
It’s a nice dream..
My hubby and I had the same idea..but the people running the program don’t.
If you have kids, it’s not free
Period.

It's too late in the game unless someone backs out . We tried looking a couple months ago without luck . Typically regular mashgihim are buchrim and counselors are girls . The only jobs for married are the head jobs I.e. running the camp but most hotels want big name people for that and have been advertising their staff for months.
