Get the helmet! I've never had the experience of a child needing one but I would 100% get one if needed. I completely understand what you are saying about not wanting your child to be wearing one but a flat head for life is so so much worse. It's common enough now that people don't really stare or think it's weird. I know it will be hard for you but just do it knowing it's best for your baby.

This was the helmet featured in Hamodia.

I love that. The pilot one is awesome. Such a clever idea.

The head is hard and firm already at that age. there's probably nothing much you can do.

I recently read in one of the Jewish magazines (sorry, don't remember which one) of a lady that draws cute designs on the helmet, for example to make it look like a pilot's helmet. Maybe that would be an option

Yes I remember that too. She made loads of different designs. Custom made, personalized etc. Super cute. I think it was the Ami so maybe they'll have contact information for the lady who paints them.

I just read more comments and realized it was already mentioned and linked.

I wonder if my son's PT would still be able to help you. She did a great job with him but he was an infant when we did it. Her approach is completely different. She's in NJ. If that's doable for you, I'll share her info.

I went the helmet route with my baby and I don't regret it. Her head was lopsided. Now it is beautiful and round Smile
