Help with idea please
If I do my boy as Hatzala, what are good girly costumes that would go with the theme for a 9 year old and one year old.
Not injured people!!!
And yes I know they could be emts also but they would want girly!
Thank you

Does it HAVE to be a theme? Are the girls the ones who want the theme or are you the one who wants it?

I like those ideas but my daughter would probably prefer something more princess-y.
Maybe my son should be a the “royal EMT”???
Seriously though, how could I could connect what those two want?

I don't think there's any way to connect hatzola with a princess. It's not a mitzvah to do a theme, let everyone be whatever they want. Purim is a day for the kids to enjoy.

Damsel in distress...
But seriously, just let your kids be what they want, even without a theme.

I like the royal emt -- ya let them do what they want and you can figure a creative commission -- every royal court had a court dr....

If you want a theme, but also want to be very 2020, you can dress your girls as ballerinas with white lab coats and say that you can be both a ballerina and a doctor - there is nothing wrong with that. You can pursue different passions, even if they seem to not it the mold of what we expect. There is a whole movement like that, one such woman is Merritt Moore who is a physicist and professional ballerina. But, depending on your community, it may just totally not be understood...

Oh my ! I love this ideas.
She can do that in almost any community.
A dr. And a mother
she can hold a baby in one hand( if that’s your community) and medical stuff in another.

OPs daughter wants to have her dress up fantasy day of being a princess. Let her be. She shouldn't be forced to be a girly EMT if she wants to be a ballerina or fairy.

Are there communities where all the siblings need to dress up in one theme???
I would hate that as a kid. Where's the wild freedom of purim, to be your fantasy for a day? Seems so conformist and Stepford-like.

Agreed, that’s what I saw from later posts. But the basic premise of EMTs not being girly was one I was disagreeing with.

Don’t worry! There’s no pressure to have everyone dress up the same/in a theme.
We’d like to try and see if we can make it work- for fun! - but if it doesn’t we’re totally fine doing each one individually

I love that idea!
Otherwise, I was thinking that your dd can be a magical fairy with special potions to cure people.
