I just read this article which had many interesting and frightening points. (Gardasil studies - totally rigged) And a thought struck me, it sounds crazy because my son is 3, I do not want him to marry a girl who has gotten the hpv shot. (I don't need immature responses that such a girl wouldn't want him anyways bc anti vax blah blah) like it has known effects on fertility so why take that chance.
Seriously. The frum community needs to be aware of this. If one person gets a little more educated it's worth all the bashing sure to come.

https://childrenshealthdefense.....ward/

Quote:
After Gardasil was licensed and three doses recommended for 11-12 year old girls and teenagers, there were thousands of reports of sudden collapse with unconsciousness within 24 hours, seizures, muscle pain and weakness, disabling fatigue, Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS), facial paralysis, brain inflammation, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, blood clots, optic neuritis, multiple sclerosis, strokes, heart and other serious health problems, including death, following receipt of Gardasil vaccine.

The Japanese government stopped giving the Gardasil vaccine in 2013 after health officials recorded nearly 2,000 adverse reactions, according to the Tokyo Times. http://www.tokyotimes.com/side.....-take…/

There is the MIT and Stanford educated medical doctor who also has a Master’s Degree in Public Health? The one who is a vaccine developer and has worked for Merck, the manufacturers of the Gardasil vaccine? Dr. Harper has repeatedly spoken out against the HPV vaccine and raised serious concerns about whether it is safe. I don’t want my children marrying people who are anti vax. I want my kids and their spouses to educate themselves, and come to the decision that is right for their families. If you think I am immature, I don’t want YOU as a mother in law for MY children. You’re entire premise went out the window when you called those who disagree with you immature.

I think that OP has read some frightening information and doesn't want an invalidating response but she used the word "immature" instead. I don't think she is saying that vaccinated people are immature.
Most likely, she will find others like herself to make shidduchim with but even people who vaccinate are hesitant about Gardasil.

You are entitled to an opinion on whom you want your child marrying.
She did not say that you are immature because of that.

I'm calling the knee jerk reaction (of which you provided an example) that "if you don't want me, I dont want you either na na na kish kish" immature. Bc this is an educated decision on my part and I have legitimate health concerns, espoused by doctors and gebetic testing, as to why I wont vaccinate.

I hear where u are coming from (& we actually don't do any vaccines). But I do want to out it out there that makes and females can have infertility issues even without the gardasil. There are ways to conceive with most infertility conditions. It's not necessarily an easy process especially when trying time after time but please be open minded about that too. Many times people reject a girl for a suspected or known infertility issue but at same time their son might chvsh have an issue that is unknown at the time.

Me and all of the females in my family including my immediate cousins received gardasil (those aged 35 and younger) and no one has fertility problems. I have a sister who is 21 and has only 1 daughter who is 20 months so not sure if that's intentional or not because we generally have closer (I.e. I have 6 under 7 kah).

Why is my response a knee jerk reaction, and not the product of research I have done?

No, Ema of 4's reaction could well be a product of her education and research, and she simply does not feel like spending the time refuting or addressing the contents of OP's post, since they have been regurgitated on several threads already and OP is not likely to listen anyways - she came on her to "share the light," she does not seem to want to be educated.

Sorry, it is immature to disqualify a potential shidduch for your 3 year old son based on her mother's choices.

While we wish we can protect our children from sadness- it's just not possible. The best we can do is give them tools and a strong foundation to deal with whatever challenges Hashem gives them.

Eta To be fair, I think you may have different world views by the time your son enters shidduchim

I’m not the OP, but I hope to make my kids understand that it is something to discuss with the person they are planning to marry. I don’t think the shadchan needs to ask, but then again, I’m not a stickler for shidduch dating. I think it should be a conversation that they have between themselves, and come to a conclusion together. Will I be disappointed if they choose not to vax? Yes. Will there be repercussions? Possibly. But I think it should still be their choice together.

The site you quoted - Children's Health Defense - is a prominent anti-vax site founded and funded by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

It should not be taken as an authority for anything except what puts money in its own pockets.

I couldn't open your third link.
The first link simply states that CHD is run by RFK.
The second link tells some interesting information, but I believe your purpose in providing this link was the tens of thousands of dollars raised by Larry Cook for his organization as well as his pockets.

Do you want to compare to the profits of Merck:
Quote:
Merck started 2019 strong, grabbing $10.8 billion in global sales during the first quarter—an 8% increase year-over-year—and raising its full-year revenue range for the year. This builds off the $42.3 billion in global sales the pharmaceutical giant netted in 2018, a 5% increase from 2017.
Quote:
Kenilworth, N.J.-based Merck climbed two spots from 2018 to take the number 76 spot on this year's Fortune 500 list. The company generated $42.29 billion in revenue last year, a 5.4% growth, and has a $214 billion market share

Sanofi
Quote:
Sanofi is a global leader in healthcare and pharmaceuticals based in Paris, France. In 2018, Sanofi generated about 34.5 billion euros in revenues. Sanofi's modern revenues were highest in 2017 when the company earned just over 35 billion euros.
or GSK???
Quote:
GSK's drugs and vaccines earned revenue of £21.3 billion in 2013
Are you seriously worried about Cook's petty cash when there are way more than these 3 Pharma giants who are pocketing oodles of money?

Who's in it for the money?
