Have shabbos Sheva Brachos this week and my son just woke up with 101.7 fever. Dr said it’s viral and as long as there’s fever it’s contagious. What should I do?

Hope you're not seriously asking what you should do. Of course stay home for your child's sake and for everyone else's sake. Unless you find someone willing to have him for shabbos.

Is it walking distance from your home?
Can DH walk after eating quick meal at home?

Nope. It’s in a different city where I have no other family besides my in laws.

So you stay home with your child and your husband can go to the simcha. Or stay home with you. That's what I would do.
Don't subject other people to your child's virus.

This. Not just to protect others from your son’s virus, to protect your son from others at this point because #COVID19. His virus weakens his immune system making it much worse for him if he is exposed to it. Do not risk it.

Stay home. It's a bummer, and I'm sure you and your family will be very disappointed, but it's the right thing to do. May you have many other simchos to attend in good health!

How can anyone not understand with everything going on with Corona? Even though it is unlikely that's what it is you will freak everyone out and make them angry. Plus I'm sure your son has no desire to travel and be away while sick. Poor kid. Refuah sheleima. I sure hope you don't give in on this.

Thank you all! You were able to convince my husband and I feel so much better. It’s definitely the right thing to stay home!

MY kid came down with a mild case of Rubella right before my nephew's Shabbat sheva brachot. DH took the healthy kids for Shabbat. I stayed home with the sickie. It wasn't easy or fun (summer, so very long Shabbat) but almost three years later, I don't regret my decision
ETA: I do vaccinate but she hadn't had the booster shot yet. It was mild because she had had the first part of the vaccine
