We have a fairly simple tax return--no assets, both w-2 employees, standard deductions and dependants. We have used an accountant in the past for times when our tax situation was more complex but she charges more, ran our numbers and are plesantly suprised that our refund is more than we were expecting. I can't think of anything else to put in, and Turbotax isn't asking us for anything else. My husband is scared of an audit, is there any reason to not just press send?

If you told the truth and didn't take drastic deductions, you should be fine. Just make sure you are able to provide receipts for all the numbers you report.

1. If you make less than 200k a year, the likelihood of you being audited is minuscule.
2. One of the main things the IRS audits is the deductions. You said you're taking the standard deduction and not itemizing. That makes your return even less likely to be audited.
Just send the return.
