Random effects of the virus you didn't expect.

I am reluctant to buy anything not absolutely necessary. If kid has two things to wear when weather turns warm, it's off my list.
Dentist check-up? Something new for Pesach?

Are you referring to regular shopping? Or online too?

Both. If it isn't the pharmacy or grocery it isn't important. Am I the only one?

Why would you not shop online?

It's not about shopping. Nothing is important enough to shop for. I think I'm going into survival mode.

My friends husband was having a real hard time with parnassah. Really hard.
Coronavirus is really helping him out... he sells hand sanitizer!
BH, they finally have what to live on.

When you have big stresses the little every day stresses don't matter anymore, those nitty gritty decisions like which bow matches to the dress most, just fall away

I'm wondering if this will be a time for people to straighten out their relationships and pay more attention to their kids and spouses, if things get shut down. Or will it exacerbate existing relationship problems?

I don't think I've ever matched a bow to a dress but yes. The thing is, I'm not actually getting the dresses either.
What happens post-virus and quarantine?

Yep. Priorities get a lot clearer.

You realize how much petty stuff you used to get all bent out of shape over.

Take this opportunity to be extra grateful for what you DO have, and acknowledge how blessed you are.

You don't need much of a wardrobe for staying home. What will be with sleep away camp?

I actually went shopping at Burlington last night with all my kids to buy shoes, suits and clothes and clothes for myself for Pesach . We had the entire department store for ourselves. It’s usually bustling. I wanted to make sure I had everything covered Incase we need to go into quarantine very soon and I didn’t want to have to do last minute shopping right before Pesach.

It'll be really interesting to see how many colleges and companies will keep the teleworking/online school model even after there will be no need for it. I imagine it's very cost effective.

I have been wanting one forever but my husband thinks it's gross. I think it makes sense. For so many reasons.

What's gross about it? Also, he's a man. Women have another valid reason to get one.

Definitely preparing for quarantine and not for Pesach. Although I am preparing to include daily Pesach cleaning chores as part of my kids' quarantine activities....stay safe and healthy everyone...
