Quite a few sems have closed. Ateres in Ramot announced that they will be closing. They told the girls to go home.

I don't know which sem she belongs to, but a girl sitting behind me on the bus last night was saying (on her phone) that the sem had told them that no one, under any circumstances, would be allowed to enter the dorm over Pesach. She sounded rather frantic, so it seems that the sem wasn't being helpful when it came to making other arrangements.

I imagine that sem isn't expecting them back after Pesach, either.

Hashem seems to be Shaking up the world.

We need to hold on tight.

And we will see an amazing beyond belief future IY"H.

Seminar, meohr, machon raya, bnos chava, Mesores rochel, and nachlas, are closing/sending all their students home.
BYA and Bnos Avigail are staying open. I think Michlala is staying open too but not I’m not 100% sure.
BJJ is deciding today.

I don’t believe that is the case. They even rented an empty apartment in Har Nof in case they have to quarantine students.

Why is that a funny question? If students are being sent home till the end of the year:
1. There are no food expenses
2. Teachers don’t need to be paid
3. Dorm maintenance can be minimal
Why wouldn’t they get refunded? In whose pockets does the money belong?

Am I really so naive? The seminaries are not having to pay to feed the girls, they don’t have to pay for tiyulim and other activities, their electric and cleaning costs and such are minimal, and they don’t have to pay salaries. Why on earth shouldn’t they refund girls for quarter of their sem year?

What, your husband's Rosh kollel is a poseik for the seminaries? How did this question even come up? Everyone knows that you don't pasken theoretical scenarios.
