If the mayor orders them to , then they will need to comply. I’m pretty sure all schools will be shut down it’s just a matter of time .

Torah umesorah asked rabbanim and was told not to close schools unless told by the government. So BYBP wont be closing yet

I agree that its most likely just a matter of time before all schools close.
Better to prepare yourself mentally to better be able to handle the situation.

It really means pushing pesach vacation 1-2 weeks early. They're all closing soon anyway.

It would be 3 full weeks. I know they sent an email yesterday about extra pre cautions but I'm thinking they may be closed by Monday. I kept my kid home yesterday and today, if they're going to close soon anyway I'd rather not expose her to so many people so quickly as in school setting. If they're staying open I'd send her as my workplace is still open (gov run assistance program) and it's HARD figuring out childcare for an extra 3 weeks.
