In one of the out of town communities they had a backyard wedding and the Chosson and Kallah drove though the neighborhood in a decorated car while community members stood outside and played music, danced etc.

Can you decorate the backyard? Put some plant pots, or maybe contact a party planner to give you some ideas.

Is there a way to set up a video so her friends can watch and join in from their homes?

I like the parade idea. You can message the whole block (or more) to come to their front doors or windows and clap. They can see and feel people being with them.

Its upsetting but decor wise lots of ppl do backyard weddings on purpose. - search pinterest and maybe you can make it to michaels. Strands of lighting, hanging lanterns etc. Fake flowers are everywhere now for Easter - decorate an arch. Diff vibe but still a vibe.
