When did they tell everyone to cousin insurance?

Did you have to pay camp in full prior to claiming insurance? This is camp told me I had to do, as per my contractual obligation with them...

We put in a claim for the amount that we paid up until March, don’t know if the claim will be paid out that’s why I wanted to know if a/o got the money back

You have to be fully payed up for the claim to work we also sent in a claim it's being processed it takes a few days but it was very clear that you had to have payed for camp in full

No sleep away camps in upstate NY were given the final ok they all just say ih cause they are hoping and staying positive

I did not pay camp in full. I did not claim insurance. Insurance doesn’t pay 100% anyway- so I’m hoping it will even out.

If the camps are not allowed to open, isn't the insurance policy void? I thought it was only if they opened but you decided not to send?

Owner said to cancel so we don't lose our money cause the second they are told they can't open the insurance company won't do anything and if camp opens we will reapply again don't think any new people are applying now to camp the whole thing does sound a little shady but praying it will all work out in the end

The camp doesn’t want to have to refund parents so they are trying to get the insurance to refund instead.

of course the camp is benefitting from this the while thing was shady from day one when they literally "forced" us to buy the insurance first day of quarentine we put in our claim two days ago
