I have covid, Dh does too, no local stores have deliveries

The stores in Lakewood are booked up- no deliveries at all available this week n
Dh and I have covid 19. How the heck are we supposed to get groceries???????
We have no family or friends who can help.

Are you part of any local WhatsApp groups where you can ask for help? In my area there are people offering to shop and deliver as a chesed for elderly people or those in quarantine. It's possible Lakewood has that as well. Refuah shelaima!

when we were tested at home the health dept gave us a number to call if we needed food or medicine
try aviglatt.com the package arrived quickly but that was a few weeks ago

I tried. I can't get through to aisle 9 - every time I call, 4-7 callers are ahead, and the call disconnects.
Any other small groceries?

Order a smaller amount. Iy"h you be will better soon. You have time before Pesach. The organization is probably overwhelmed with people currently hungry.

The small stores are delivering and are much more accommodating. And they can use the business.

Gourmet glatts shelves are empty now regularly. Even if you get an order you may only get 1/2. And they are limiting orders. So you may not even get what you want. I was there today they were restocking as fast as possible but I only got 1/2 of what I wanted and limited on cases.

If you are using an arg to shop they will go where they want. Gourmet glatt is limiting shoppers in the store now.
