I know importance of minyan is drilled in since childhood but not in times like this. Just like shabbos, hatzalah runs. Now we all must be the hatzalah members.
If your family or friends aren't listening please try to convince them to. Tell your frum politicians to help shut it down. Maybe Trump can give a personal invitation to them to stop.

I just heard an amazing short shiur from R Noach Isaac Oelbaum. If anyone has a few extra minutes it's on torahanytime.com. He explains so clearly why it's so important to follow all guidelines to the T and explains how the mitzvah of vinishmartem meod linafshoseichem trumps every other mitzvah... so you don't get any schar if you daven with a minyan at this time but the opposite. It's a ten minute shiur; worth listening to.

I see de Blasio has put out a statement which threatens to close up any religious institutions ( mentions both churches and synogogues) that don't abide by current rules, for good.
