For those of us in chutz la'aretz, we're looking at three days straight in our homes (and yards, if we b"H have). No communication with others, no friends for us or kids, no technology. What are your ideas for how to deal and what to do? With younger kids? Older kids? Special needs? If you are completely on your own? (I'm trying to strategize in advance, especially if I want to order anything.)

Can someone give book suggestions? Jewish please. Is there anything available on Kindle or Kindle unlimited for days other than YT?
I was going to post a thread about this.

Special needs is probably a very difficult situation.
In regard to everything else, just read, sleep, eat and relax.

It will probably be more difficult with younger kids. My youngest is 11 and Shabbos has been going well so I think the 3 day YT will be ok too.
We get up and daven together. We learn something together. We prepare and eat the meal, sing songs. Clean up. Play some board games, read our books. We take walks. And B"H we live in a house, not an apartment. We can sit outside and say hello to passers-by from a distance.

I can’t think past today.
Seriously, my brain is on zero visibility.
This is just so sad.

My only current strategy is davening and hoping it doesn't rain for my ADHD kid, and for my ASD guy who depends on tech and structure, just davening. But if there's any books or games that could help, I'd love to get them.
Any recs for one person games or 3D puzzles?

I ordered a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle that we can all do together on chol hamoed. With the glue to hold it together. As far as yt goes maybe get the kids some new toys/books. Playmobil, lego etc. Sometimes a cheap set just gets them in the mood of playing with all the rest that they own and never touch. Hatzlocho

Do you have any of the ThinkFun one person games like RushHour, ChocolateFix, TipOver?
What about the old but goodie, Hi Q
What kind of games to they like?
I am a big fan of Blokus and Quirkle.
We also like rummycub, and SkipBo (made by Uno).

I have four boys, ages 4-11. I'm praying for good weather so they can ride bikes, play basketball, go on the trampoline. If we're stuck indoors like we were this Shabbos its going to be tough.
I bought a few new lego sets, a new game (life) and a 300 pc puzzle. There are so many hours to fill in a three day yom tov though! Im davening for patience.

I will take Xanax. I never take it but this situation will probably be to much.
