Hi,
I know the new law was passed that people can collect 60% of their wages plus $600 weekly.
I've been (struggling) to work at home with all the kids and would like to go on unemployment - it seems like I would make more by being unemployed now.. (as I make less then 600 for 40% weekly).
Now, my employer would like me to keep some hours though (the work load is lessening so taking off some hours would be ideal for the company anyways..either way they will be cutting my pay). My question is if anyone is familiar or knows how partial unemployment is working? The important question is if I will be eligible for the $600 if I take partial unemployment. Does anyone know the answer or know who I can call to get accurate information?

I don’t believe you should be eligible.
You are fortunate that you have a job.
Unemployment is not intended for people who are employed.

I read you can still get unemployment if you are furloughed
call unemployment at 200 am in the morning when it is less busy
