|
1st year being home. 2 kids eating matzo ages 4 and 6 and me and my husband. So 2 adults and 2 kids. How many pounds would we need for the whole Pesach?

1.5-2 pounds per person. That's estimate I saw somewhere else.
Personally I have three kids and last year we were home just first days and bought six pounds and had leftovers. This year I bought 8 just in case

1lb hand, 2-3 machine.
We are 8, we use 1lb hand, 8lb machine shmura. We eat gebroks.

We’re 4 kids 2 adults (one kid is a teen) and we will use around 10 pounds.

Average in 1.5 pounds per person.
Keep in mind that done people don't eat much during chol hamoed and may eat less, and some people eat at 2 meals a day on chol hamoed too and eat more.

We are 2 adults, 2 teens and a 3 year old. 14 lbs machine is the safe spot for us (2 per day). It depends what else you are making, We eat a lot of matza pizza, matza and cheese, butter etc. it’s not something you want to run out of
