I have one difficult child who HAS to have scrambled eggs every morning.
I am in the middle of turning over my kitchen- brought all the chometz to a small room.. including a toaster oven and sandwich maker.
We are fine with things that can be put in toaster or cereal, tuna etc .. aside for one child who is going crazy that he NEEDS scrambled eggs. (Many issues with this child but that’s not for now..)
Any tricks to scramble an egg in a toaster? A small sandwich maker?

You can scramble the egg and move it around on an open sandwich maker.

You can make eggs in a sandwich maker. Heat it up, spray some oil, pour in eggs and cook as usual. We do this when we're away.
Or if you have a plug in burner you can use that.

I must have a very small sandwich maker. I can’t picture the eggs not sliding right off since it’s on an angle.
Maybe I’ll try if you agree to come clean up the mess 😜.

Heat a pan in the oven, and then pour in the eggs. Same difference

Edit: I misread toaster oven as oven. Sorry! The sandwich maker is probably your best bet, like everyone else says.

Why not make him Pesachdike scrambled eggs? I've turned over and anything that can be cooked Pesachdik is.

But an excellent item to own for your chometz room is an electric skillet. I bought mine once in Macy's for $20 with a $10 rebate (Macy's has small appliance rebates from time to time). We keep it pareve. It works great for scrambled eggs, pasta, etc...like a substitute stove.

(It's also a great item to take along on vacations. Breakfast is scrambled egg sandwiches, lunch is pasta...)

(for example, supper one night this week included farfel made in the skillet as a side dish...came out delicious.

Okay ladies.. I’m officially leaving my room for the day to deal with my hungry, bored family.
I will report back if the eggs worked on the small sandwich maker!
Thanks everyone!

I didn’t take out the pesach pots yet but as soon as I do, I will make scrambled eggs again.
Good idea- electric skillet! Wish I was a magician and could have one magically appear in my house today!

Do you have a microwave? I've made them in a mug. Just cover with a paper plate because they'll explode.

At least you didn't have anything nutty, like this year. Cool

I'm still trying.
Any ideas?
He's also very picky and very sensory and I doubt he would eat scrambled eggs even if he wasn't allergic.

I have a cousin that uses a microwave. Seems to me like they’d be rubbery and awful yet her kids eat w/o complaint.

Whenever I microwave eggs either for hard boiled or scrambled they get a brown guey substance.
