though we obviously wont be going for yom tov. would love to send flowers to my parents. what can I write along the lines of we may not be physically there but carry them in our hearts blah blah. help please! time sensitive as I need to send in order asap!

The nicest thing you can do for your parents is call or video chat with them often and send pix and videos of you and your kids doing whatever you're doing. Please skip the hokey rhymes that tend to take away from rather than enhance the message. Just express your feelings in ordinary sincere prose. What are you feeling? Missing your folks? Disappointed you can't see them? Wishing you could be with them and hoping that next Yontiff you will be? Then say so, plainly and simply.
Flowers may or may not get there, depending on how short-staffed the delivery service may be.
