I just can't call my rabbi again..
If I read anymore pesach books I will fall apart.
How do you kasher the faucet where the water comes out from?

Clean it well and then pour boiling hot water over it. Our minhag is to also cover it. You can do that with silver foil or a baby sock with a rubberband

I have separate aerators (the round bottom piece that screws onto the faucet handle) for Pesach, so that I don't have to put a sock over the faucet. We pour boiling water over the faucet, and then I change the aerator.

Don’t use hot water 24 hours
Remote aerator

Turn boiler to highest.
Run water through faucet on hot until faucet gets hot.
(We then move faucet so hottest water hits as much of sink as possible - we line the sink. )
New aerator
Cover faucet with foil

Remember to lower boiler.

Don't use for hot chometz for 24 hours (we try not to use it at all to simplify things).
If you have a kashering kit, hold the hot stone with the gripper over the faucet and pour boiling water over it.
If fully kashered stainless, doesn't need to be covered.

inexpensive, but you want to make sure you get the size that fits onto your faucet.

I got the exact ones for my sink, same company...they were less than $10.

But by definition, it's steam from a pot that's no longer on the flame.

If you go by the Star-K they put out a video that explains and shows how to kasher a kitchen. It includes a demo of kashering a sink. Btw, they say you do not need to do anything for the part of the faucet where the water comes out. I guess that is the spout? Not sure if that's what you are talking about. You can look it up on their website or look on Baltimore Jewish Life. It was very helpful and not overwhelming.
