Crumble without potatoe starch

Hi! Ran out of potato starch and already prepared apples for apple crumble. Any good yummy way to make crumble for on top with...cake meal? Matzo meal? Something else??

Cake meal or matzo meal should work as a replacement. Most recipes that I've seen are using the starch for the fruit not the topping. I'm going to attempt a peach cobbler today and we only have cake meal so fingers crossed it works!

Sugar, ground walnuts, oil and cinnamon? Won't be a crumble.

1/2 cup each chopped nuts (not ground), cake meal, brown sugar, with 2-3 Tbsp oil until crumbly and some cinnamon.

Or crumble up some pesach cookies to use as the crunch.

We also love sliced apples tossed with cinnamon, a drop of lemon, and confectioners sugar, with no topping - just baked and eaten straight up.
