Out of curiosity:
Do you burn it in the oven right away or freeze it to burn at biur chometz?

It’s nice to get everyone’s ideas, but this is an ask a rabbi kind of thing. I do what my Rebbetzin told me she does, but I know there are different opinions on what’s best practice. It’s our mitzvah so we want to get this one right.

Why would I want to clutter up my freezer with a year's worth of raw dough and, worse, risk someone (namely me) getting confused and mistakenly using the dough?

I've learned that it's halachically preferable to burn it right away.
It needs to be made inedible and who knows what will happen in the freezer. And we learned this year that biur chometz isn't as reliable as we would like.

I flatten it and lay it out on a plate till it hardens and dries out completely (takes a few days).
Once completely hardened I put it in a brown paper bag and keep on adding to the bag whenever I make a new batch. I keep the bag in a cabinet.
Every so often when the bag is too full we burn it in our backyard.
Dry dough burns quicker than frozen.

I wrap it silver foil and burn in the oven. About an hour on the highest is enough.

My mom puts it on aluminum foil and makes the foil into a hook to go over the rack. And puts it while the challah is rising. And leaves it too it's cool. Then tosses it out.

I read that one should burn it right away because when Moshiach comes, there would be a safek what to do with it because of not being tahor before.
I also heard that one could pour bleach or something inedible over it if one couldn't burn it.
But ask your Rav.

We have a fire pit on our backyard that gets really hot. I give it to my boys and they burn it there to ashes.

Sometimes I burn it right after I bake my challah, but sometimes I stockpile a few week's worth of separated challah in the freezer and burn them all at once.

Usually I burn it on the stovetop but our vent fan just died, so this week DH is blowtorching it outside.

I would burn it right away, but I was taught nothing else can be in the oven when burning it, and I'm always deep in Shabbos prep, with tons of food in the oven.

I put it in the freezer, and burn eventually (usually before Biur Chometz, but some gets burned then).
