Old school ambrosia

This is probably the kinda thing that doesnt have an exact recipe...but is this how to make ambrosia?

Frozen strawberries and blueberries
Can of pineapple, oranges, peached (drained or not?)
Thawed Rich's whip

Am I missing something?

I don't remember blueberries or peaches but I would drain if adding..
Coconut sprinkled on top?

Old school version is strawberries in syrup (with the syrup), drained canned pineapple, drained canned mandarin oranges, and unwhipped topping, blended together.

My version is a bag of frozen strawberries, pineapple tidbits in juice, 2 small cans of mandarin oranges in juice, and 2 small cartons unwhipped Rich’s whip.

same here but I whip the topping and just add the stuff to it and mix

See I don’t use strawberries in syrup, but I add the juice from the pineapple and the oranges and blend with I whipped topping.

I stopped because it became very difficult to find strawberries in syrup with a good hechsher for a long time

I do either the jello or the whip, not both together. With the whip it’s more creamy, and with jello more compotey. I don’t blend the fruits.
