Petty annoyances, please. Things that never bothered you before, but now are like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Mourning doves! They're driving me crazy. They are like little owls that never know what time it is, and do not shut up, ever!

Whoooo, whoooo, whoooo, whooo, whoooo.

I swear they are more annoying than pigeons (but not as bad as a pre-dawn wake up call from a flock of crows.)

I feel like my house is so cluttered and dirty.

I'm sad my kids can't go to sleepaway camp.

I'm sad my bar mitzvah will have no one there, and no party.

I'm really sorry to hear that. Mazel tov on the bar mitzva. I hope you can have fun planning a outing with his friends, once it's safe to do so. It's never too late to celebrate.

I was hoping this could be a silly thread, to take out minds off of things that really are worrying us.

My daughter dumping dirt into her swimming pool.
My kids using so many dishes and silverware all day and not washing up after themselves.

1) my nails are a mess- dry and cracking off- and I can’t get a manicure to maintain them. Don’t judge as I know there are people who do it at home. I have tried and tried, invested in all the implements- it doesn’t work for me.
2) Amazon prime taking more than 2 days to deliver stuff. I didn’t realize how accustomed I have become to instant gratification. I thought it was just my kids 😂

There is a magazine on the floor right there (*points towards the front door*) and I want to read it but who knows if it has coronavirus on it and I don't want to have to worry about it getting on me or in me or onto my kids....so I'm just going to have to let it sit there for a couple of days until I can read it without stressing about illness.

My petty annoyance is that now, when I can't get to the UPS store, almost everything I buy on Amazon has to be returned. UPS pickup costs money on a lot of things, even Prime.

You're a step better than me. I always hated my alarm clock. Every time I click snooze, I think it'll get the hint, but no... it's back with a vengeance 10 minutes later! Yawn

Oy. Yours and some of the others here are technically first world problems but not on par with what my entry is: No whole wheat flour in the stores besides King Arthur.

Don't minimize genuine stressors. Sure, there might be some great perspective out there but go with the chizuk and understanding of those who've btdt. Feel free to start some threads. Hugs!

I want coffee and I like to drink it from paper cups but we have none left. The few mugs that we have are all in the sink and I don't feel like washing one right now. So I'm sitting on the couch grumpy.
