It's been very nice! The kids are used to this food from school. They send 4 lunches including fruits & veggies to serve along with the lunches. And a few bottles milk & OJ. Package of bread and box of cereal.

School is working very hard to cover food groups. Is there anything different you think the kids would like, say yogurt? Was all the food useful?

The food was amazing and a really nice variety !
Very appreciated!
The produce was very good quality .
Personally, my family would also enjoy yogurt , cottage cheese, cream cheese.
Every part of the box was useful though .... nothing went to waste .

Thanks to all those that put in so much effort and hard work.

The kids loved the blintzes last week.
Today they were so happy with the chocolate milk.
They love pizza bagels but were disappointed that the bagels arrived for 2 out of the 4 lunches this week and there were only 3 options (one 2x) instead of 4.
But they love every part of it and we are so grateful! Everything eaten and everything enjoyed BH!

First of all, thank you so much!! It has been a tremendous help!

I love that that you include a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. For my family 2 containers of orange juice was a lot. I think the fresh fruit is better. Like last week the clementines.

Yogurt or string cheese would be amazing.

Most of the food will be eaten in my house (except american cheese but I know that for most people that is a popular food item). The frozen food tastes great! My kids loved the blintzes!!

Thanks again from a very appreciative BYBP mother!!

We gave away the milk because we can't use so much. We'd also love red milk but understand that's not served at school.

Every family will react differently. My kids were thrilled with pizza bagels.

I don’t want to derail the topic
Op I know someone that sells wholesale vegetables and his business is suffering from the situation because restaurants are closed.
Is there any way to get him to sell to the school at a discounted rate? Or the person to speak to?
Yo can pm if you want
Thank you

We also loved the clementines. Loved the kirbies & tomatoes!

We didn't get American cheese. Was that this week or last week?

We are grateful for it all! Everything is eaten and enjoyed! Nothing wasteful.
Just answered because you asked but we couldn't be happier, just keep doing what you are doing!

American cheese is not so good eaten cold but it makes a great grilled cheese sandwich - or a simply melted on a slice of toast. Add some sliced tomatoes if you have around.

It also makes a nice tuna melt - just melt it on top of the tuna which you have put on a piece of toast.

They were literally perfect.
I love that you switched one bottle of milk for chocolate milk, 4 bottles was a lot for us. We're also picky about orange juice, tropicana/lakewood/golden flow fine, but one bottle is enough.
My family loves both the pizza snaps and the pizza bagels, but we didn't get any pizza bagels in our box.
Bread/ cereal is always great.
Fish nuggets last week was a no- go, but fish sticks was appreciated.
Love the fresh veggies.
I like the idea of cream cheese. The cold cuts were a cool add-on.
Most of all- super appreciated to get it delivered once a week. It's a great help.

Ouysh, I’m so sorry you did not get pizza bagels. We did have more people registering, perhaps they ran out or perhaps just a misshap.
