Its sold in the local butcher stores in boro park. I've eaten it at weddings but never made it. It's sort of a bottom but with leg standing up but it's from the chicken rib area, I think

I just made this - is delicious!
I seasoned panko crumbs well.
Dipped each piece in egg, panko crumbs.
Pan fried on each side for a few minutes.
Then baked for an hour.
Covered the tray loosely with foil.
My experience with it is it’s best fresh.
Enjoy!

It's just a skinless chicken leg with the thigh deboned and only the drumstick bone left in. It's often served breaded.

It’s a deboned chicken bottom
Shmear mixture of ketchup and mayo and dredge in your favorite crumbs. Cornflakes, pretzel, flavored breadcrumbs. Add some nuts, sesame seeds etc.
add seasoning if your crumbs aren’t seasoned
It’s delicious baked because there’s plenty of fat. Use your favorite shnitzel/cutlet recipe.
Around an hour on 375, cover for 30 then uncover
