You also need to ask about exposure. I have A and not sure what my husband has but I didnt have symtoms while he did.

Im not sure what happened but my vote didn't go thru. I have blood type O, and I had covid-19 although not officially diagnosed.
My husband, im not sure his bloodtype. Was "under the weather" for like 3 days and thats it. He was well enough to not even think about staying home from work. Just a bit out of it.
This was BEFORE we realized it could gave been covid. It was BEFORE patient zero in new rochelle....

Results may be skewed, since certain blood type are more common than others

Also, "I had covid19" can mean both "I lost my sense of smell for 2 weeks but was otherwise fine" and "I was bedridden for 2 weeks"

I was exposed when my husband had it. Went to the mikva right before he had fever. BH I had no symptoms otherwise. I want to check my antibodies though.

The question should also ask what the symptoms were and how severe.
Every blood type can have covid-19. The question is at what level it was.
Some people had just a trace of a symptom while others were sick like a dog.
I'm curious if the symptoms had a connection with the blood type?

A+
Was plenty exposed...
Dont think I had it.
Entire family was overly exposed, noone had.
7 kids, husband worked with people who had, went to shul, went to stores, kids played with friends, was by Urgent Care ...nothing. BH.

why?
I just counted the hamodia list of frum people we have lost. 252.
so I ask you why you engage in behaviors that may spread illness
why?
you have not had time to do rigorous research to determine that current advice is false. so..
why?

I didn't vote because I think I had it but unconfirmed. Blood type A. For me it was like a cold (no fever) with a worse than usual cough and loss of smell.

My dh and I were sick before purim. He had all the symptoms. I did not. Right before purim we had a family simcha with extended family. And one of our mechatanim were very sick with covid. I work in a school. One of our children works in a hospital, 2 work in schools.
Yes we were careful with sd from before Pesach and still are
We recently went for antibodies test and came up negative
I am O+
He is A-

Does that mean that it was not covid?
Or that the tests are not accurate?
Or that positive for antibodies only shows For some?
Who knows?
So one of your questions should be I don’t know if I had covid.

the tests have been brought to.market very quickly and therefore unfortunately have problems with accuracy.

no one knows. research is ongoing. time and study will tell.

Bc my husband had to work, and ppl there had it.
He went to shul bc his rabbi didnt close it.
Kids refused to stay locked up, and neighbors were knocking on our door.
I had to buy food for my kids, so I had to go to the store.
My daughter worked in Urgent Care, so she dealt with patients who had it.
We didnt engage in spreading the illness. We just lived normal. Noone around us got sick.

I'm aware many sadly died...are u trying to blame me for that?

Anyways I was just being honest to OPs poll.

Wow! That sounds interesting.
So there was already community spread at that time...

Two possibilities: it wasn't covid (I also got sick before, no antibodies, so likely a different illness)

It was covid and we do expect there to have been community spread before someone got seriously sick as no one knew where he got it from so presumably it was around before and no one realized

Could have very well be the flu or the myriad of other viruses around every year. I highly doubt any medical personnel would consider this to be COVID-19.

Have you taken an antibodies test yet?

My father has O- blood type and he was sick with it for over a week (but B"H did not develop anything serious).

I am A+ and was sick for 5 days, also relatively mildly.
