It's only for boys in beis midrash, over 18. Probably different rules.

What happens if the boys have antibodies? Don’t have antibodies? Wondering what the point of testing is.

I believe all camps got permits. But they are subject to governor’s final order. Some people are misunderstanding this.

Camps or bungalows or swimming pools were all given permits pending approval by Cuomo.

From the wording of the email, it seems that they are saying they will be open, not “this is how we will proceed IF we are open.”

Yes but it also says they got approval from the DOH. The DOH is under the governor. If he didn’t give the okay yet to anyone I can’t imagine they’re the only special ones. My summer home development also got a permit from the same DOH to open the pool, pending the governors announcement as to pool openings. Some developments took this as a clear to open.

Something doesn’t make sense.

So misleading. They got a temporary residents permit which applies to people age 18 and up. So no one should extrapolate running a typical camp based on that...

They are probably registered as a college, as colleges are allowed to be open.

It's a permit for temporary residence, not for camp.

They're all 18 plus.

I still see it, just not in the headline stories. You can either do a search for it on YWN, or click the link in this post.

Got it- thanks.

I have a son of similar age- I doubt he has antibodies since we have been strictly quarantined from the beginning and no one in the family ever had symptoms. Would he be penalized and not be able to attend if his test turned up negative?

😂 if only!! It’s a Bais medrash. I think they basically just move their Bais Medrash to the country for the summer.

He would need to quarantine for 14 days before camp.
